Parking: Parking is free and there is trailer parking.
Description: This is a quiet launch area that gives you a straight shot to the Morningstar Park Picnic Islands. We kayaked out to the Morningstar Park Picnic Island and explored the island before heading east and paddling under the Julia Tuttle Causeway bridge. We then headed south and did a little snorkeling at the old pilings that were left from an unfinished island many years ago. After that we paddled east and went back under another bridge of the Julia Tuttle Causeway and headed north to another Morningstar Park Picnic Island where we rested and ate the lunches we brought with us. After exploring this island we headed back to the launch area. This is a paddle that we are looking forward to doing again.
Kayak Rentals Availability: Rentals are not available at this location.
Amenities: Public restrooms, baseball/softball Field, basketball court, tennis, pool and playground.
